Snow Land — Plains Swamp

Snow is a supertype with no inherent functionality. Instead, it serves as an identifying characteristic of permanents and spells, and is closely tied to snow activation costs and mana costs. Snow is a replacement for the supertype "Snow-Covered". Lands represent locations under the player's control, most of which have mana abilities. Swamp is one of the five basic land types and provides blank mana, which is required to cast black spells. Plains is one of the five basic land types and provides white mana, which is required to cast white spells.
